I'm almost certain now that treelords will be treemen, looking at the wood elves compendium, there's a formation guardians of the deepwood that is called the exact same in the table of contents above.
The trap is definitely more involved than "throw all models at the centre to win". Sounds like a fun scenario, one thing I've been liking about these scenarios is that unlike 40k, the table size varies and is indicated. And of course if you want to play a bigger game you could just scale the table out.

In 40k you could always agree to play larger/different scale scenarios or make up your own rules for scenarios This structure for AoS is just forcing people to talk to one another and agree on scales/scenarios/ideas to have fun, it's great! I love it!

Of course, I guess I mean the official GW scenarios are way more varied.
I'm loving it too, never would have picked up a box for fantasy but everything's changed with AoS.

I prefer fantasy over sci-fi but the huge blocks of guys in fantasy was a lot, plus I watched shannon's ogres fight connor's warriors of chaos. It put me to sleep! (sorry guys for specifically calling you out, but it's true)
The later rules (7e/8e) weren't what I wanted from a game, age of sigmar is way closer. I like my rules elegant, I don't mind them being bulky and covering a lot of things, but I adore lighter and fast rules. (For example I play Knights & Knaves, ask me about that some other time)
The simplified hit/wound data being on the warscrolls has done a lot for me as it has really sped up combat rolls, also having meaningful decisions on your opponent's turn is very fresh in a GW game (selecting which unit attacks). I'm very impressed with AoS.

Quite a few more leaked images are out now with the release of the Age of Sigmar book just right around the corner. Some of this information has been revealed already, like with the Fyreslayers, but there is a lot there, as Lady Atia has the book in hand and is leaking lots of images.
Here Posts start here Some Highlights so far. Liberators Sprues some warscrolls Nurgle and the Great Horned Rat are Allies Gorkamorka and Savage Orruks

Yeah, she promises to leak more scenarios later too So far my favourite is the ooruk with great tusks protruding from his lower jaw, you can bet that if they make a sculpt has as impressive I'll pre-order two boxes.

I've got the book in my hand. It's beautiful, tons of pictures and all the models are painted beautifully, then they have digitally created pictures too.
Only gone through one scenario so far, it's called hold or die. Think how the men in LOTR are surrounded by orcs at the black gate except they get reinforcements later. Very interesting. They get special command rules too, the one for the surrounded army forces them to stay still, can't even pile in, but they can reroll all failed saves.
I noticed earlier I think nsc was wondering about the time of war in the table of contents. It details the special rules for the realm of fire. One rule is missile weapons shooting at a target more than 12" can reroll to wound of 1. Because the arrows or whatever light on fire. Haven't read the rules for realm of life yet. It is $90 but it is sick.

There's only one warscroll battalion that isn't in the primer or the wood elf compendium. It's called heroes of the host for stormcast eternals if you want to look it up. It has three heroes in it so taking it would limit any other heroes.
