How many of us have gone without a win though? =P We're winning at having fun! But that's about it...

it's seriously been a mixed bag of results... just like last year at this time.
given that this is a 12 game scoring system (2 per round) literally anything can happen, because a good second day changes your score completely (it's half the points!) and the gap between winning and losing a game is at maximum 10 points. That's pretty easy to make up. Plus there's going to be civil wars today as well which level the playing field considerably on day two.
But competitive parts aside - if you're having good fun games that's definitely a win in my books (cuz this would be an awfully long tourney to be having miserable games!)
Anyways enjoy day two - I'm just hoping "first blood machine" (my triarch stalker) survives past turn one today...lol

well that was a long weekend, but I hope people had fun!
Thanks to everyone for coming out to play, especially the new players (there were SO many people there that it was their first tournament ever it was crazy!)
Thanks to the vets who brought out those new players and made them feel welcome - introducing others to the hobby is the best way we grow our community bigger and more inclusive!
Congrats to the top eighters who took first place!
------------
on another note, our Next Tournament is the Secret Santa - 1500 points - friendly tourney. Entry includes a $10 wrapped whatever you'd like (I'd steer you to Nexus to get it, but you can go anywhere).
After that is our club championship tourney in February.
Fair warning, we'll be introducing a comp system for our tournies, which is being worked on right now, in order to reward players for bringing reasonable lists and leveling the playing field a bit.
