lol... guess I can't use my verminlord! Not only is he a conversion and I don't have the original model, and he's on a round base!
and none of my overpowered rhinox calvary either!
good thing to note for everyone as well is that the singles event on the Sunday is 2200 points.... not the 2400 we are used to....

Yes, 2200 for Sunday both shortens games with slightly smaller armies (and trust me, by the end of Sunday you will be burnt out), it also limits some of the uber-lord or double lord builds, not mention it eliminates Teclis from contention!! I'm all for it just for that reason alone ;D

Yeah, and at 2200 it's not like I'd bring the Vermin Lord anyways... he can't be my army general, so that's leaving a L6 priest in charge? ....sounds like a real bad idea lol.... I will be bringing my two towers pestilens list though... it's the one that's painted the best I think... and since I'm buying a new cannon and abom... maybe they should make an appearance too??? now if I bring Lord Skrolk all those monks would be my core.... hmmmmm..... oh right, he has NO saves, only a level three, and costs twice as much as a level four grey seer..... nevermind....!

sigh.... then I suppose we'll be seeing alot of Mr. Teclis in such a big tourney....

Nutz, we will be seeing Teclis. For some reason I thought he was 575 points - at 475 I agree we will be seeing several of him in the singles tourney. I know Fat Gaz has already indicated he is bringing Teclis when I saw him in Trenton since he doesn't want to win best sport again with an army that continually gets crushed.

....that's what happens when you don't embrace the ogrestar....

Hmm....I've won Best Sportsman at things before....AND I'm good at losing at WFB! Combine that with my lack of Teclis and I might just have a shot at winning something.
Assuming I actually decide to go AND can get my Elves painted in time.

....that's what happens when you don't embrace the ogrestar.... Yes, Gaz had ogres but went for Skragg and Gorger kingdoms without the ogrestar. He should have heeded your sage advice ;D

So Tommy and I will be bringing a combination of lizardmen and skaven to the doubles tourney. I'll be driving down so have room for maybe two people with me (armies + luggage + display board tend to take up room quick!) if someone was thinking about going but unsure about rides....
(see Frank, I just freed up some room in your van too!)
....now to just figure out why lizards and skaven would actually work together - being mortal enemies and all!

Hmm, at least it's not High Elves and Dark Elves (which I'm sure will be seen somewhere up there).

High Elves and Dark Elves would definitely be harder to explain that our Eldar/Dark Eldar. The utter hatred makes it a very very unlikely partnership.

Yeah, I'm trying to think of a reason for it, I and I just can't. I think even if a bunch of Daemons were coming to eat them they'd just keep fighting each other anyway. Or laugh as the other's homeland was overrun by Chaos, even if it meant the destruction of the entire world.

....well in warmasters you don't have to be allies... you can take the "adversary" path instead...
Also just gotta say.... Skaven getting to use a Slaan's leadership for SIN rocks!

Yes, having that long range skaven artillery with short range sally and skink shooting is crazy effective - especially against squishy T3 elves ;D
