my 2 cents. level 4 is for people who are in the running to be the most powerful psykers in the universe.
again not my systems but something for the gms to think about. Eldrad, fateweaver and in the old codex grey knight librarians were the only ones i have seen. and they took it away from grey knights in the new codex.
Apologies but it seemed fairly clear to me that you could run different armies, XP just didn't carry. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding. Yes I have posted one battle report, however there is one that was going up later today (mine to write) versus Jordans orks, and one that MRaven should be posting in the near future. It's also kind of a pain to be playing in the league when you have multiple armies you enjoy playing as, because if everyone's in the league now you are locked on what army you're allowed to bring on Saturdays. That seems a little silly that the league is forcing me to play the same army every week until the club championship.

So does that mean I can play an army with a different faction have the result count towards the league points, but get no experience from it? I mean I'm okay with that but please tell me how I can do that.
Well someone can play their league game vs. your non-league army. there's absolutely nothing saying that can't be done
There is one exception and that would be if you played the same faction as your opponent as that is covered in the Campaign rules (Civil wars score no VPs).
The "you don't have to play the same army" I believe was in regards to having to play the same list the whole campaign, but I could be wrong.
The idea was you pick a side, pick a hero and you fight for that side for the campaign.
If you want to play an army outside of your faction you can, but it doesn't count towards the campaign.

It seems that even the GMs are a bit mixed up on this one, judging from our PMs and posts.
Originally, in 'Season 1', our beta test, each player got 1 hero and 2 mini heroes. However that was a small group of 10-12 people, and even then it was a lot to keep track of. So when we went community wide, i decided it was going to be one person, one hero.
There is nothing stopping you from playing a different army even in a different faction and contributing to the campaign- it's all for fun, after all! The only thing that stays 'locked' is your Hero's Army&Faction(Faction is negotiable depending on narrative&fluff i.e. a space marine captain and his company falling to chaos).
If you wanna play Guard one week, Knights the next, that's fine, and you can contribute to the Imperial Faction. If you played Knights and then Chaos, you'd contribute to both factions. However, if your hero was a chaos guy, you couldn't also have a Guard or Knights hero.
