Setting up nicely for Eldar to pop out next year and bust up the meta, right?

Imperial guard seems to be far off. Well they seem to be doing well right now anyways. Not in any rush to update.

well because it's Faeit of course we have a different rumoured list today:
A little insight was sent my way regarding the upcoming Warhammer 40,000 Codex releases for the year. Here is the remaining list, as well as which three will be last, but released on the same day.
Please remember that all rumors are rumors, until we get an official announcement. Remember that we have seen thus far... Space Marines, Grey Knights, and Chaos Space Marines. Already announced next up are Death Guard, followed by the Adeptus Mechanicus. With the list below, that would wrap up our 10 codex releases for 2017. Quite the list.
via sources on Faeit 212 Just wanted to give you a heads up; the remaining codexes this year that have not been announced are; Thousand Sons Astra Militarum Blood Angels Dark Angels Space Wolves
The 3 marine ones will be released on the same day and are the last for the year.

Darn. I believe this list more than that random one floating around Facebook. Looking like no xenos at all.

As foolish as GW is, they won't ignore the xenos players. There will be A book for Eldar of some flavor there will be a Tau book. The rest are question marks but absolutely those two and like Orks due to the large push for horde style armies. They know that the key to selling models is selling books that support those armies. The faster they can pump out books, the faster they’ll crank models out the doors.

Oh, no doubt they'll eventually come out with xenos codices, but this pre-christmas lineup does fit with their previous statements saying they wanted to focus on the Imperium VS Chaos again this edition.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what the displayed chapter strength will be for the Blood Angels currently. Seeing as 95% of their chapter and successor chapters were just turned to Nid lunch recently.

But really that was 200 years ago or something in the fluff. So they probably have got more Marines by now.
