Hello folks, Here is this months challenge!
Any infantry sized unit from your game system of choice.
A unit shall henceforth be described as 3 or more models with similar characteristics. Save those characters for an upcoming challenge!
Feel free to post up your progress in this thread. I'll have my plastic pledges up tonight!

Lukas, I'm kitbashing up a trio of the Death Guard Single Model character Elites. They're not a unit, but can they be counted as such? If not then it'll likely be Some "basic" Death Guard Marines.

Nice! Super Death Guard friend powers activate!
It's the Biologus Putrifier, Foul Blightspawn and Plague Surgeon all done up from models existing in the initial boxed set plus some spare bits.

I'm going to be doing up the Sisters of Slaughter that most of you saw on the weekend as my "cultists". Grey cultists... with one layer of purple on some parts. Hope that's ok that they aren't purely unpainted.

Sounds awesome. Im currently stuck on what paint scheme to go with. Should my Guard and Space Marines be of same colours or be in contrast to eachother. That is where Im at. Ill post up some pictures tonight When I finish glueing models.

So I have decided to go Hard Contrast on the Space Marines. Going to do a squad of 10 Intercessors and see how it looks. Here is my initial picture. imgur.com/a/OHvLPI decided to go repaint all my other Marines... I have like 4 different sets over the past 20 years. Time to get them all under one chapter.

I'm gonna use this as an excuse to paint up some of my cultists, probably do a 5-10 man squad of the Tempestor/Genestealer cultists I've got, with that standard bearer as the centrepiece

Well, Perhaps I should not have picked 10 Primaris for my first project. These guys are awesome to paint. A lot of detail. But each guy is taking a lot of time. Two down. Still have to add some detail to the Base, I have miss placed my grass. I decided to keep the red from my Guard Army but for the SPace Marines to go with a White/Grey Armour. Found a few articles in a couple White Dawrfs that I had salvaged a while back to help with Painting Techniques, Over all I Like them a lot, and cant wait to get them on the table. I went with a Yellow Right Arm just for flare. I have decided to also paint up a few characters with this process to help break up the repetitiveness of painting the same guy over and over (Dark Imperium Starter Set) Here are some Pictures. imgur.com/a/O3izOWeek 1 Two Down. Week 2 - aiming for 3 with a Lieutenant Week 3 - aiming for 3 with a the other Lieutenant Week 4 - Aiming for 2 with a Ancient.
