this is old one eye's year to dominate... sure he still doesn't have an invul or a range weapon and now he can't climb levels... but he's got... ummmm.... well.... he's got....

Way too many, especially if you get lucky by re-generating wounds each round. It'd be hilarious and might lead to a time-out in rounds; dead tie!

Well. Working backwards...
9 Wounds at 3+ means you are going to need 27 Wounds.
A Bolter wounds OOE on 5s, so going to need 81 hits.
Marines hit on 3s, so going to need 122 shots?
Now mind you, every turn OOE regenerates one wound... So the marine is going to need to land at least 2 wounds from his bolter every turn to keep him going down...
I think OOE might have the advantage on this one...

I think OOE might have the advantage on this one... well, marine characters usually have a slightly better boltgun, and they hit on 2's re-rolling ones. The main point though is OOE would potentially be completely useless, as monsters can't go up ruins, and he has no shooting.

My favorite was running Zagstruk at all of 70 points against Abby, and somehow surviving 3 combat phases and doing 2 wounds to him.

...ummmm old one eye can still roar at the marine character... sure it doesn't do any damage, but it's intimidating as hell! and yeah, OOE would have the 2+ save regenerating a wound every turn... so chances very high of a time out on that one! I'd take a tie though...lol... you don't want me forcing you to roll it out do you?

For the boss fight would everyone get 2 command points because they would have an auxiliary detatchement for -1 command points and still be battle forged?

I would think no command points. The warlord enters with nothing but his or her martial skill.
