Hey my dude.
If you are who i think you are, the biggest mistake you made in our game was leaving that HUGE hole in your backline. That let me teleport the wardens in and get to grips with your highest threat to me, which was your reapers. Try and make sure there is not any 9" holes in your deployment- "bubble wrap" your high-value units like farseers, reapers, ect. with your cheap guys like guardians.

Matt's right; deploying in a bubble/spaced out isn't for avoiding blast markers anymore, in 8th it's now for deepstrike avoidance. With a few cheap units of guardians you can really zone-out your deployment zone to really force your opponent to drop into a poor location T1 or have to wait to bring their units in thus allowing you more time on the board with your (possibly) full points vs. their less than full.

Units that have unique deployment options are also great for deep strike denial, as they let you react to your opponent's deployment. Rangers are the perfect example.
