I'm happy to see them giving knights their own dex, but I was really hoping that Orks and Wolves would get a codex before they dipped into the smaller fish. Tho THANK GOD deathwatch is getting a dex, 19 pt tact marines!!! they are a joke right now.

Man, that new Knight model that they show in the trailer has been eating his wheaties. Two main guns, four secondary turrets (can anyone ID the weapons on them? They look like autocannons or stubbers to me) and one upper carapace mount that has a bunch of missiles attached.

Look a lot like the mini battle cannons from the tempstus vehicles. But twin linked. Two meltas of some sort (possibly multi meltas), some kind of missile launcher (possibly 2 hunter killer type things, look like possibly single use) a massive plasma gun And probably a rapid fire battle cannon

And some more, that's no standard Battle Cannon! It's got blinky lights and stuff! Also looks to be as tall as current knights sans carapace weapons. (which look as big as a manticore missile!) I'm seeing twin/multi-melta, some kind of shoulder mounted twin cannon (not likely stubber as it doesn't have the barrel perforations that heavy stubbers have now), a plasma something in the one arm, maybe a volcano cannon like weapon in the left arm and some single-use missiles on it's back. Crazy...

Definitely looks like a barrel from a volcano cannon.
That’s a lot of fire power.

Wanna play "The Price is Right" for the knights price tag? I'm gonna give GW the benefit of the doubt and go in at $200
As for armaments, it almost looks like it has lots of slightly smaller weapons. That plasma majigger looks a lot like the plasma cannon off of the Primaris Redemptor Dred. Maybe it's like the Repulsor to the Landraider. Like, the standard knights have fewer, bigger guns and this guy is just bristling with mid level stuff.

I dunno Lukas; I'd almost argue that this guy is meant to be a superheavy/tank hunter. It's a role that GW knights have struggled in during 8th unless you exclusively run the melta cannon at the cost of then not being able to handle hordes in shooting very well. If this guy is meant to hunt big targets, then they'd lessen the "need" to go to FW for the Cerastus knights and thus keep it more in codex.
Time will tell but I think your price-tag is spot on, just the role reversed; I'm putting my cash on "big thing" hunter with those odd smooth-barrel turret things being a point-defense so his shooting isn't completely wasted on hordes.

Time will tell! I'm sure they'll do a spotlight article on his stuff when he comes out.

I'm looking forward to standard GW knights being an actual competitive option next to their forgeworld counterparts - more choice is always great!!!!
