Terath and his juggernaut shook the brain-addling mist from their minds, breathing in the clear night air. The silent crowd sat unmoving. Snickerslit was fidgeting and visibly nervous. He involuntarily yelped and excreted the musk of fear as the juggernaut roared and bore down on him. He jumped to the side of the charging beast, slicing at the herald with his envenomed blade, but unable to pierce the infernal armor.
Terath attacked the skaven in a fury, and Snickerslit barely escaped with his life from this initial assault. He leapt out of the way of the juggernaut’s teeth and claws. He could feel injury though, and knew his movements would be slowed. As he drove his blade towards the demon, he struck simultaneously with his tail weapon. Terath did not expect the lashing blade coming from behind, and this seemingly less dangerous weapon was the one that struck home.
Terath howled in rage and grabbed the Skaven by the neck. Snickerslit gave one final yelp as the demon and juggernaut each grabbed an end, and tore him apart.
-----------------
It was all about the no armor saves on this one... reducing the poor skaven to only his ward save meant for a final bloody end to poor Snickerslit.... but it wasn't the juggernaut or KB that ended it... this time the herald was the one!
Was kind of funny that the one item that wounded the herald was not the multiwound S4 armor piercing weeping blade... but it was the S3 tail weapon! (well I thought it was funny anyways ;D )
So final round will be Terath vs. Kha-cho-lot - so the arena is nearly complete!

Terath was pacing back and forth, not yet mounted upon the juggernaut. He could feel the familiar rage within him rising, ready to burst forth in a howling fury. The scarred Saurus sniffed the air. Kha-cho-lot growled deep within his throat. He remembered that smell. He was unable to have the time he needed during his first fight, it happened so fast. But now he knew.
Kha-cho-lot turned to his opponent. “There would be no reasoning with this one” he thought to himself, “too bad. I don’t know how I’ll get out of here alone.”
There was no time for that, as the herald leapt upon the ironclad beast and tore towards him. The Saurus readied himself and exploded into action, cutting upwards with his sword to unseat the demon without having to get through the juggernaut’s protective hide to do so. Kha-cho-lot’s aim was true and Terath rolled with the impact to turn the killing strike into a mere glance. Terath and the juggernaut assaulted the Saurus with a unified roar. The protective amulet that he wore though protected him from harm.
Kha-Cho-Lat struck this time at the juggernaut, narrowly evading the snapping jaws of the beast. Armor plates prevented any further damage however. Terath’s blade stabbed repeatedly into the Saurus, drawing blood and slowing the movements of the Lizardman to allow the juggernaut to grab hold and tear out large chunks of flesh.
Terath jumped from his mount to grab the Saurus and deliver the killing strike up close and personal. With Kha-Cho-Lat’s dying breath he told the demon what surrounded them. The seething herald dropped the lizardman to the ground and turned to the silent crowd. He could hear the loud clear voice of the leader call out:
“The champion of Khorne has prevailed. All hail Khorne”
Terath grinned in spite of himself. He has brought glory to the skull throne, and therefore to himself.
The silent crowd rose as one and pulled the hoods from their heads, revealing long decayed flesh and empty eyes.
“Khorne has spoken. We have the most worthy sacrifice.”
The crowd who had remained still throughout these battles began to shuffle slowly to the stairs, leading down to the arena floor.
“And by this champion’s blood we will rise ever stronger as he rejuvenates our power long lost”
The hooded leader was in the throng of shuffling dead, walking with purpose now. His will binding the undead legion to take this champion and hold him down for the final embrace. The leader threw his hood back, sharpened teeth bared in the moonlight. Manfred had enacted his rituals to return, and knew that the purest, strongest blood was necessary to return his former level of power that the traitors had taken from him.
At the advancing horde, led by the infamous vampire, Terath only grinned wider. “Glory of Khorne indeed,” he hissed, “so many skulls to claim… so many skulls”. He leapt onto the juggernaut’s back to start the harvest.
