soulgrinders are actually pretty damn solid in AOS... weird that they're such utter garbage in 40k but they have the rules right in AOS but whatever...
A mass of pinks is actually fairly threatening, even though they aren't nearly as deadly in AOS. That's a lot of bodies to chew through sitting on an objective.
warscroll builder only has you at 1320 points though with that list... now it's 1480 with a Daemon Prince... did you forget him off the list perhaps?
If so, then you have two nasty CC threats, a few shooting threats and some fairly decent casting

Well it's AOS... everything is usable... but when stuff starts dying (and it will!) you'll need to rely on some of your bonus rolls that you get (search for the disciples of tzeentch battletome to get the mechanic you'd need) to your advantage for sure. Also spells. spells change everything.
flamers are getting 10 shots... 5 hits on average... 3 wounds... with D3 damage but can pour out this at 18" range (which is quite good for sigmar and few units actually have shooting)
while the prince is another caster (albeit with only the two basic spells) that can put out the hurt in combat (I'd go sword instead of talons)
so it's really a choice as to how you envision the list playing out... it's seems like a shooting list overall with some punch from the grinder. Question is - do you need another CC unit or do you want to just go all out with the shooting?

true. i could drop 10 horrors to have two units of 3 flamers. really only loose 4 wounds in total.
command traits, are they like warlord traits? or do they take command points to use like command abilities?

Also pinks can spit for "free" in the AoS. They were updated in the generals handbook. As they die, you can either make the blues do petty vengence which is a free attak which can cause mortal wounds or put 2 points towards summoning blue horrors and same with brimestones. I can also lend you the battletome if you want to read up on them for the tournament.
Command traits are the same as warlord traits. Command abilities do use command points though which only certain characters have. There are a few generic ones as well.

yeah i saw that. i don't own any blue or brimstone horrors. but the 4+ to do mortal wound is nice.
i also like the fate points. just need between me and them to cast 18 spells and a free unit of flamers is mine if i can cast the summoning. if thats how it works.
i wont know until wednesday if i can make it to the tournament.

Only spells are on the warscrolls, however some armies (I honestly have never read the Tzeentch battletome so I don't know if this applies to them) have an additional spell list that casters are allowed to choose an extra spell from. I know this applies to Sylvaneth and Daughters of Khaine at least. (as I have those two books)

It'll say on the warscroll how many spells they can cast. As far as I know they can cast one, but there are a few lores in the book, one for daemons and one more mortals, there might be a third lore too but I cant recall. So all the wizards can including the horrors get one additional spell.

question if i take a battalion. does that subtract from my battle lines and such.
like if i take the warpflame host. exatled flamer and 3 or more flamer, exlated flamer or burning chariots will the two burning chariots not count as battlelines any more
