Anyone else read through the lore for vigilus abalaze? I was super disappointed. I mean, I didn't think they would (SPOILER) actually kill Calgary, but to have him get THAT messed up, TWICE and still live was super goofy.

Codex and supplement fluff has basically always been an embarrassing Saturday morning cartoon, a la GI Joe.
All the truly good Warhammer fluff comes from the novels, penned by competent writers.
See also, the entirety of 5th edition.

For sure, it just felt so off to me since they had hyped this campaign as an important event in the lore. It just felt like a huge dud.
