I agree. Fun, though it has shown quite bluntly that certain models really need to be relegated to the display shelf.

Thanks everyone had a great two days. I'd say that was the best I've done in a tournament. We got 5th.
Had fun every game, my partner was fun to play with, my opponents fun to play against. Just a great tournament.

Had a good time and some great laughs. Many thanks to Mike, Allie, and the Nexus team for hosting & prize support. Also to Shannon and his worker bees (I assume there were some) for planning, setting up, and running this event.

I had a lot of fun, and the trophy was a wonderful sendoff for my dad. I personally really like the 2v2 format since I don't play enough 8th to know the rules and it makes it infinitely faster to play with the same force composition each game.
Apologies to my opponents in the last round on day 1, I was asleep on my feet and just didn't have it in me to slog it out to the finish. It was a good game though.
