I've previewed 31 lists.... not going to get into specifics but: 12 Imperium (includes all marine variants, knights, mechanicum, guard, etc.) 10 chaos (daemons, csm, tsons, death guard, chaos knights etc.) 9 xenos (orks, necrons, pointy ears, etc.) fairly balanced field I think thus far... and there are several armies noticeably ABSENT this year... should be interesting One thing I'll say, is we aren't following the ITC meta that's for sure! Any sisters showing up? Or is it to good to be true

that would sadly be too good to be true... but maybe one of the nine remaining spots could be sisters? maybe?

club champs hint of the day:
make a display board. even a simple one flock board will net you easy points towards painting, which contributes to your overall score. if you add a terrain element or theme, it gets you even more points! most display boards are not going to cost much money at all (couple bucks if you have to buy a 2x2 board) but can net you some easy points (can basically make a score from a tied game equal a win instead!) and make your army look that much better displayed for painting

My guard army has a hard time fitting comfortably on a 2 by 2 board. Any size limits?

2x2 is preferred due to space issues, however if you require a bit more room that's fine... just remember there is limited room at tables, so if you're using your display board to carry your army around during the weekend, bigger is not necessarily better!

The key is multi level board so you can double up on space.

Are we still at 31 players all who early birdied? Or have we added more since then.

Is there a big bonus prize for hitting 40? I know one year there was a thunderhawk...

.....maybe.... but we're nine short of full, so unlikely to get any big prize this year... ...if we hit 40 though..I'll let you know what it is... if there is one

Question.
All my codex’s are legally on my iPad. Will there be any issues if I print off the pages I need so that I’m not wasting time trying to access them during game?

I think in previous years Shannon allowed printed pages so long as you own the book itself. I've got questions about this as I need 5 books to run my army, and most of them are only 1 or two pages from each. Ideally being able to copy the pages I need and drop a few from the "must carry" list.

if its a couple pages vs bringing an entire book, or scanning through the IPAD go ahead... gw hasn't actually been very helpful with their releases spread over more books than ever!
