lol... if I don't hurry the hell up with my painting I'm going to have to pull a full weekend one of these days!
I was pretty impressed with the quality he was able to get by the end.

Miniac did the other side of that video, an entertaining watch.

It's certainly impressive. It seems like he spent around ~24 hours(I think it was ~4 on Friday, ~12 on Saturday and ~8 or so on Sunday), which works out to around 20 minutes a model given his 71 model count.
Through if you're a bristle-lord and don't have an air-brush, that would highly likely be vastly increased, the airbrush base coating and enamel steps would easily take quadruple or more the time even with a large terrain or tank brush.
Really motivating me to get going and finish off the stuff on my work bench tho. (I may or may not have some painting time scheduled this weekend =P)

Many people base with sprays though, which is even quicker than the airbrush... Plus I'd bet that enamel paint clogs the hell out of the airbrush lol

(I may or may not have some painting time scheduled this weekend =P) If it weren't COVID times, I would say we should get a group together at nexus and do something like this. Paint for the length that nexus is open on the weekend. See who can paint the most over the weekend.

Has anyone setup or done a virtual "chat-n-paint" type hangout thing? I'd love to have something like that as a semi-regular thing that happens, might help us all while the metaphorical storm rages on outside, especially with winter looming in the months ahead.

There is a Kingston painting group on facebook messanger that do video calls twice a week to paint. Sunday afternoons and Wednesday nights, best to get ahold of Cory for being added to the group.
