Nanavati is a control-freak player. He wants to eliminate as many variables from the game as humanly possible.
I can't think of a player who is less suitable to discuss how orks should play lol.
I got as far into the article as him talking about how units of 30 boys are bad because they can't do Engage On All Fronts well and had to stop.
Take notes kids, the "what doesn't work" section probably has better advice than "what works" section. If you do the things Nick says not to as Orks, you'll probably have more fun and win more games than if you take his advice!
(For the record, normally I feel Nanavati has very good advice, but this just isn't that situation)
Edit: I tried to give it a second chance and hit the paragraph where he called Warbikers and Squigbuggies bad and laughed so hard I almost had an asthma attack... Yeah. won't be finishing this one.

oh it's worth finishing... stick with it because there's some actual good advice in there.
but you have to get through the typical verbage and "I'm right cuz I'm the best 40k player in the world" stuff first.

I struggled through the rest of it. His logic is sound as usual, but I cannot understand his logic of sticking to the passive-point gameplan. (Other than "it's his jam")
Dark Angels are quickly falling down the tier lists because they rely on passive play through secondary scoring and the "well I just win if you do nothing about it" playstyle he's pushing. I cannot see Orks, an aggressive and chaotic faction by nature, somehow doing passive-play better.
It doesn't help my gutshot read of that advice when Ork lists that use Outrider detachments to spam buggies and warbikers in Freebooterz shooting lists are already putting up results at big events by being aggressive and playing in your face. Yes, those lists don't look great on paper or when punched into a math-hammer-calculator. But that's the point of that aggressive chaotic playstyle, you give your opponent choice paralysis by asking them to do 12 things at once.
I'd love to read for example how Skari would build Orks, as this type of playstyle is textbook for him.
