Well out of the various things on offer, I'll only want the Necron codex. I have more than enough overlords and crypteks already while the only thing I might want out of the patrol box are the destroyers.

I'm not 100% sure about the hyperphasing. Yes, Deathmarks and Ophydians can take advantage but the former are anti-infantry character snipers and I've never really been impressed by the capabilities of the latter. Also from what I understand if you put units into reserves, their reanimation protocols won't activate meaning they won't start healing until after you put them back on the field.
Though I can see you 'porting a massive block of warriors with a Fulcrum-equipped Overlord into Gauss Reaper range, crippling the enemies melee force and then redeploying again.
Also I wonder if the destroyer-centric detachment will give some buffs to the melee units or if you'll be forced to rely on the gun-destroyers for anti montser/vehicle work.

I see the Hyperphasing being good if your opponent is trying to charge you. If they fail the charge or is just out or range you can remove those units that were going to get charge and place them away from enemy units. leaving his/her Assault units in the open.
I also seeing it useful for Doom Scythes that never move. or Teseract Vaults that you want in your opponents lines. But i do see uses for it. It changes the way to play necrons which are a slow moving army as you know.
And it will help with missions where you have to be in Table corners. or enemy deployment zones.

I guess it just depends on how dependent the 'redeploy' detachment is on Monoliths for peak capability. Not a problem if you already have them but grabbing multiple super-heavies in order t make a detachment work right doesn't sit well with me.

Tyranids have a detachment that is for harvester units. There's four in the book (ripper swarms, haruspex, psychophage and pyrovores). So I would not put it past them to make a detachment that relies on Monoliths.
I find thus far (I mean there's only been two books in 10th) you have a couple decent ones, but others are more "themed" than competitive.

Well here's hoping the Canoptek detachment is interesting. Because I have plenty of wraiths and scarabs. And spyders would be easier to get (or kitbash/proxy) than Monoliths.
As for the destroyer detachment, the strats seem to lump flayed ones into the mix and I've got a whole load of still-on-sprue warriors (old and new) along with a bunch of Dark Eldar blades I got from Matt. To hell with buying Flayed Ones, I'll kitbash my own if it comes to that.

The codex reviews are starting to pop up ( currently listening to this one) and it seems that a lot of our favorite methods are going bye-bye along with a number of characters (several named and the regular Lord are removed). Examples: reanimators now have a 3' range instead of 12', Rez-orbs are now once per game at the end of any phase, warriors reroll rez instead of buff numbers (have to bring the ghost arks now) and crypteks can't join lychguard.

well no more 4+ FNP for trancendent C'tan was no surprise here. Glad they made that change. (even though I own one)
Looks like wraiths are back!.. nice buffs there being lead and getting a 5+ FNP and an extra wound each - wow!
I'm not as down on Annihilation legion as goonhammer (but I'm not heading to a GT so that's probably why). It seems pretty thematic, although really seems to benefit melee destroyers the most.
Oh man... that Canoptek court is REAL strong. Doomstalkers are gonna be a fantastic with full rerolls. Infiltrating tooled up wraiths - oh man!
Hypercrypt Legion looks fun as hell. I might start with that, even though I don't own monoliths... hmmm maybe time to buy a couple?
I am predictably extremely excited for all C'tan to get a 5+ FNP.
This all just seems really great!

I love how the Court detachment has a similar feel to Shadow of Chaos but useful. Doomstalkers are one of the coolest models all around.

Though the biggest thing will be how they change the point costs for things. Prime example I can't see them keeping the Lychguard at the same inflated price after the nerf but the named C'Tans might get a bump along with the Wraiths.

Tabletop Tactics I think had access to the new points and mentioned that Lychguard have gone down.
On a side note - I've been slowly getting piles of shame with Necrons. This gives me a reason to build it.
