Hey guys, to clarify the food thing. Our no food policy as listed on our page is designed to eliminate gross food mess. Outside drinks are still allowed in store. Outside small snacks (think granola bar type stuff) are also permitted. We aren't hypocritical at all. The items we allow in are also the only items we sell. We don't force anyone to buy from us, but we do appreciate it. It helps offset the cost of the gaming floor which is about 3k per month. "Meal" style foods are the only thing we no longer allow and it wasn't an decision we made lightly. The good news is that during gaming breaks, we are a 1 minute or less walk from wild wings, 2 pizza places, dennys, kelseys, montanas, five guys, mucho burrito and osmows! We want happy gamers! We love having you guys! Its the #1 reason we moved locations actually. But I also need happy employees with clearly stated job requirements, of which cleaning up old food is not one of. Hope this helps! If you have any concerns please message the store any time! Appreciate the clarification! Personally think this is totally fair.

If we had like 24 players, I'd totally run an AOS club champs. Would love this! We're close. Hopefully we can continue to expand our AoS community

I'll probably join once the next edition drops. I'm not a huge fan of this GHB mission rules. I have OBR and Hedonites and my partner has Gitz. We just found a Loonshrine and Skragrot yesterday so it seems fitting to relearn AoS once 4th drops.

I have selected custom 3rd party battleplans compatible with AoS 3.0 and plan to continue this trend to keep things fresh. However if you are referring to this GHB seasonal rules (primal stuff) fair enough! Hope to have you and yours join us some day

It's mostly the battle tactics and primal rules of the season. They're pretty meh - and it feels bad making them so difficult to do. The games that I've played with the new GHB has been like maybe completing 3 battle tactics and one is a free be?
The game and the models are fun. Maybe I'm biased because I really like tactical objectives from 40k and battle tactics feel gamey.

Yeah I didn't really like BT when they came out, and what we've seen is why. Too many are too easy and it's just too much reading and memorization. I'm hoping 4.0 gives us something more conventional. I'm also biased against faction BTs though Right now for me it's just an excuse to work on a new army without bothering with all the patch-to-patch tweaks. I find the lame duck periods at the end of a season a good excuse to make hobby progress without the incessant fetters of the meta.

I just play AOS for fun, just pushing cool models across the table. I haven't really been a fan of the GHB stuff beyond the missions they have, but I understand people want to play the game as written. Probably one of the most laid back games I play.

I've yet to meet a Sigmar player who isn't ok with proxying Yeah, I know. I just felt it would be polite to mention it. Now I have to type out a list and figure out how bcp works. Looking forward to getting more birds on the table. Pretty models, and no more jigsaw to get those 1" reach attacks in!!

My Chaos Warriors have certainly proxied their weapons! My rule of thumb is that a model as equipped on the table can only represent one thing. So if I have two units of Chaos Warriors modeled with "Murderous Weapons" I will run them all that way or all as "Ensorcelled Halberds". So if I want Halberds (going against WYSIWGY) then every unit has Halberds so that my opponent (and me!) can keep track.

Good rule. And generally, that's probably what you want to be doing anyway.
