So the ork codex is coming and the stompa is looking to stay at 800 pts, is it good, probably not, is it worth a list...we will see.
Dread Mob - walker buffing detactment
1 Mek - 45 1 warboss - 65 , Klaw 1 warboss - 65 , Klaw
1 Stompa - 800
6 Killa Kans - 250 , rockets/klaws
11 grots - 40 11 grots- 40

Its a rough idea, play the stompa but try to keep some good stuff too. See how well the stompa can layer buff and what its survival rate is with T14 2+ 30 W.

The double stompa is just such a hard sell, they only work if you layer the buffs and they are so expensive that you cant strat reserve one so you cant even try the outflanking one.
I can see a world where you try to hard stat check an army but if they have anything that can deal with you the game is over. I really can see the Stompa dropping to 675 from 800 which would put it in the cooking with gas range in the dread mob.

I might have to rethink my life choices.
I honestly don't know why a stompa is 800 points... that seems pretty excessive for what you get.
It's a Lord of Skulls with worse shooting, no invul, and a few more wounds (I mean T14 and T13 are pretty indistinguishable). should be 600 points
....cuz then you could bring THREE!

So I think 675 is the right price cause in dreadmob you can really lay it on thick with strat stacking. However outside the mob the stompa is poop.
