Well we've started a big project with the library of knowledge... I've been asking some of our board members to use their big brains for the benefit of the rest of us and do some tactical / army review articles to share for new and old players alike!
You may get a message from me asking for your time and writing talent in this regard...
....if you don't get a message, and have something you'd like to contribute, feel free to send me a message (being proactive and all that!)
This will be a SLOW project obviously... but we hope to have things rolling soon....

Why can't we post anything on the thread?

My guess would be so that it doesn't become cluttered with posts since it is meant to be a spot were people can go to get an overview of different armies to give them an idea what they can do. This will help new players decide what army they want to play, and help older players (in terms of time played as opposed to age though those 2 tend to go together) know what the newer books have changed from older versions and also for anyone to get an idea of what the armies they are going to face are capable of. I guess a better way to put it is that it's a resource as opposed to a place for people to discuss it. If you have comments you can always start a new thread and make reference to the Library

Also if you notice on the ones posted in the library thus far, they've all been posted up for discussion first... so they all have actual threads to discuss... the library is there to store this useful information for those who want to access it... without having to wade through pages of posts to get the info!
so yeah, the library is read only....

oh and thanks shannon, i love the idea i think its one of your best yet. It will be great for new players to look at what armies they may want to pick up or to see what might be coming out of what someone else has. Like i knew nothing about blood angels except i like their baal preds lol but now if i fight them i know a bit more. Not saying im going to win but im more prepared lol

Well Tom certainly set the bar with his blood angels review for sure... was twelve pages when I copied it over to word to put it into one post..... But I've got the word out to some of our vets and have asked them to contribute.... so I expect more content to come! I'll do my best to contribute as well... it will be nice to have a resource database that we can keep adding to... especially when you're just starting an army, with prices how they are, it's best to be able to plan your purchases ahead of time to how you'd like to play (or maybe find out that this isn't the army for you and have more money for another choice!) I remember how frustrating it can be at the beginning... especially when you get schooled almost every game! So the more info we can provide, perhaps it'll shorten this learning curve.... just a little!

frustrating for sure the only ever game I've won at nexus was at the big battle and I lost most of my guys at that game to looks like skaven just aren't as easy as I expected them to be.

lol... as a skaven player I can definitely tell you they aren't as easy as it looks.... but don't worry... my next army book review is on the rats.... been playing them for a while now, so I might have some useful suggestions in there

oh could I make a suggestion instead of making one library of knowledge with three sub sections make three of them under fantasy warmahordes and 40K
