I certainly would have been pushing the numbers with that council, but they truly would have nom'd their way through the majority of my forces.
*shrugs* regardless, out of 3 games, you won 2, with us using the same list for each game. I had a helluva good time and look foreward to future games. Did you want to stick with 1850 or switch things up? Heck... why don't we just start a campaign?

A campaign is definitely something to look into in the future. Next week why don't we play some combat patrols or kill teams. They are alot of fun and we can get in a few games instead of just one. I'm thinking kill teams are the way to go. If you don't know the rules just PM me and I'll get them for you. D'Narb will likely be interested as well.

...just a reminder there's an existing escalation campaign at Nexus - you can work on that one if you so wish... plus as you're having games right at nexus it's rather easy to log the games...
...plus there's a tourney at the end!

I'll think about it over the weekend. What will the points be starting on Monday? I'll see if I can build an escalation list with the models I have.
The reason I hesitated was that I am afraid I won't be able to stick with it after I return to work. But I think I'll give it a go anyway.

I'm not terribly interested in the escalation, this time around. A matter of availability more than anything and I'd just rather not jump in so late, either. I'm game for combat patrols and kill teams... never played either, really, though. I'm also thinking of printing off the rules for www.Brikwars.com and bringing down some of my Lego. Anything you can build, there's rules on how to use it to blow up other stuff your friends have built... then rules regarding your technicians and engineers and having them rebuild stuff mid-battle... Pretty fun... very creative... plus, I've a whackload of Lego available (including a Lego Adder bought from PrimusBus himself, in Germany www.brickcommander.com - that's right... Lego scale BattleTech) But yeah, if anyone is interested in giving it a try, let me know and we'll set something up.

Tuesdays seem to be picking up for people showing up at Nexus. There's a group that'll be playing some Death Watch around 1:30. I've a friend whom I am introducing to 40k, so I've a game scheduled with him. I'm sure there'll be at least someone there who will be willing to play. Heck, maybe you can take my buddy on after he gets his first game in. Either way, provided time and opportunity, I've Orks that I'd like to try out and some CSM that do try their hardest. See you folks down there

Oh man! What a great turn out today folks! I know of at least 7 games that happened... a good dozen folks kicking around... What a great day! Plenty of 40k and Warmachine went down. Some great learning experiences for some new players. Thanks for the great turnout! I know I had a great day and look forward to next Tuesday!
