I'm pretty bored with WoW (never could really get into it), and i've done the whole Warhammer Online thing.
What games are you guys playing these days? (Other than the aforementioned)
I'm not shy to PvP, I actually prefer games that are heavy on it. Grinding, not so much.
Any ideas?

I recall ship combat being really fun and the away missions really dull. Did they fix this?

Giving Age of Conan another shot on the free re-trial (played it at launch)
So far it's quite good, now that i've got a faster rig than when the game originally launched; was very hard to play right without a high end pc.

D&D online is free... and fairly fun too... although after a while some of the missions get repetitive... (as the super cool ones you unlock with "turbine points" - ie: being a paying member or buying points) but for a game that doesn't really cost you anything to play, (and you can play as long as you want for free) it's pretty decent... ...oh and it's still 3.5 rules too...

I've been bored with WOW for a long time. Tried DDO back when you had to pay for it and it didn't really stick with me. Same for WAR.
I've been playing City of Heroes for pretty much as long as it has been out. It keeps me entertained but it's not exactly as complicated as other games and can be a bit repetitive. Though it has an upcoming expansion in August which is quite fun as of now.
Really, all I'm waiting for is Star Wars: The Old Republic. If that game lets me down then I'll be extremely disappointed.

(but I was really just looking for an excuse anyways )

My only real issue with MMO's is that they reward you only if you're willing to log 20+ hrs a week and only if you can get a group of people who you can run with on a regular basis.
I don't have that much free time to spend anymore and I hate paying to play something that I don't really play. I've also never been able to find a group of people I can run with who play the same hours I do.
Last one I played was WAR. I loved the look of it and enjoyed playing when I did manage to get a good group together, but I found that the game pushed you to power level (skipping all the fun quests that had great story lines) to get to max level and then begin the grinding there and hope you get the good items so that you could stand a chance. I'm not that into that kind of play style since I enjoy running quests and seeing what the game world has in it.

Promises to be rather exceptional, based on what I've seen. I'm eager to see the full race list, though... but please no Ewok Jedi!

Though obviously enticing, I'm pretty sure it is safe to say that there will be no such things as Ewoks in this game ;D

Isn't half the fun of the game getting to those levels and having those adventures? It would be like watching only the last 10 minutes of a movie you waited all summer to see.
