This was a game I played against Tim and his CSM's It was the third battle played with the Dark Olympiad at 1500pts.
We played an old BAO scenario with The scouring as primary and the relic as secondary.
Tims list (from memory)
CAD - Primary Black Legion
Biker Sorceror With bells and whistles)
Tzeench Lord on Disc with killy stuff
3 units of plague marines
3 Rhinos
Allied Detachment - Crimson Slaughter
Typhus
30 Zombies
This army relied mostly on summoning to bring in support.
Turns 1 & 2 - I took the first turn. And I moved into a very aggressive point on the table. My opponent expected me to rush him, but I held back, and focussed on his mobility, I killed a ravager turn 1 and turn 2 the other 2 rhinos had been destroyed. His first turn, he succeeded in casting invisibility on the zombie horde! And failed on BOTH the summoning attempts.
On my turn 2 (the picture shown above) I was able to kill a key model, the killy tzeench on disc lord. As well as blast the plaguemarines right next to the zombies with the razorwing missiles. This allowed me to punk a bunch of the zombies and not have to target them specifically.
In his turn 2, he finally got some summoning off, and fast screamers moved to key areas of the battle.
Turn 3-4
In my turn 3 I moved up to engage the enemy units:
And then ended up wiping almost all opposision the screamers, the biker sorceror (that was ML 4 thanks to the black legion) and moved into position to take on typhus and zombies.
This allowed me to really control the centre of the field, and the relic being near. This put Tim on the backfoot and now he had to try and claw his way back.
In Tims turn the zombies charged unsupported ito the hellions only to get cut down, and the plaguemarines in the bottom corner are bogged down against the Succubus and her unit.
Turn 5
The End of the game came quickly... it was a fast paced game. With all the support gone, the Dark Eldar took the win!
Well. Thanks for reading.
