So as I think I made very clear I am in love with TIE everything, so this is my elite TIE list.
Royal Guard Pilot (interceptor) PTL
Royal Guard Pilot (interceptor) PTL
Rexler Brath (defender) Marksmanship Heavy Laser Cannon Experimental Interface
So more likely than not the entire squadron will be stressed at the end of each turn, but most of it hits really stupid hard, especially with the marksmanship HLC dealing pseudo-crits. Advice or opinions appreciated, I suspect this will be the type of list that needs to be flown well due to its low model count and high pilot skill blockers could be an issue

I'm really hesitant including a Defender that's going to regularly stress itself. Its dial just doesn't shed stress easily. I like Brath's effectiveness for first contact but after that, I think the trouble will be putting the points invested in him consistently to good use through much of the rest of the game.
I've found it difficult to make Brath's ability activate effectively without some sort of action-granting support ship included, i.e. building a list specifically around his ability. To be honest, I actually haven't been able to build a Brath list yet that I genuinely like.
With respect to maintaining your Brath setup, I suspect the solution may lie with the inclusion of a Black Sqn TIE/LN with wingman, or Jonus with wingman. As below, that would bring your list to 66pts with the Black Sqn or 72pts with Jonus. Who knows what's best. Quite frankly, I still think basic Onyx Defenders are the way to go, though.

I'm considering dropping the experimental interface on him and building a decimator with fleet officer to hand him focus. It will make him hit really hard and he'll hide behind a dauntless title.

I assume knowing that you'd be stressing the Decimator, you'd run Oicunn? That certainly eats up the points quick, eh.
- Defender (PS8 Brath, marksmanship, heavy laser cannon) = 47 - Decimator (PS4 Oicunn, Dauntless, intimidation, Mara Jade, fleet officer) = 52
