I'll likely decide once the warscrolls are leaked... I'm currently running lantern dude on foot, so am leaning towards bow guy, but if it's just a regular bow probably not as useful as the lantern effects (I'm assuming they're the same as foot-guy)
buffs are just so very useful

I'm going to assume that they're dramatically different, also I'm looking forward to the musician and bsb releases coming

So got everything for this now and it's all assembled with the exception of three prosecutors in the box. I'm actually finding the 12 warscroll cap to be quite limiting, as I ideally would like to field the prosecutors in two groups of 3 for flanking harassment duties with a special weapon in each, but whatchagonnado, gotta follow the rules right??? (stupid birddog counts as his own warscroll for some strange reason)
Heroes: 4 Warscrolls: 12
Celestant-Prime (8) Knight-Venator (5) (bow guy with bird - nicer version of the model I think) Lord relictor (5) Lord Castellant (6)
6 decimators (18) 6 protectors (18) 6 retributors (18) 5 Judicators with crossbows (10) 5 Judicators with bows (10) 6 liberators (12) 1 gryph hound (3) 6 prosecutors (12)

Well the gryph-hound is his own scroll because gw didn't make the comp Very solid list, I would personally go with bows only, no crossbows, but I hear you like how they look

I like the flexibility of both weapons, and the look of the models so even though they're not quite as good as the bows I'm going to stick with the mix (plus they're all built!) GW wishes they made my comp! they'd get so much less internet hate if they would have!

He's what I work tours
Celestanf-prime Lord-castellant Knight-vexillor (pennant) Knight-azyros Knight-venator
2 units of 5 judicators 5 protector 5 decimators
Hammerstrike force 8 prosecutors 5 retributors 5 retributors
The plan is to set the Prime and retributors to the side. Set the rest up in cover and rain down Fire use the pennant move the decimator were the best use. The hole think is to make a sandwich between the group in cover and the group dropping in

Celestant Prime Knight Vellixor (pendant of the stormbringer) Knight Azyros Lord Castellant Lord Celestant on Dracoth (literally this is the last chance for captain whiffalot)
5 judicators with bows/special bow 5 judicators with crossbows/special crossbow gryph hound (had extra points) 7 liberators (speed bump!)
Hammerstrike brotherhood:
5 retributors with one mace 5 retributors with one mace 3 prosecutors
Hammerstrike brotherhood:
5 retributors with one mace 3 retributors 3 prosecutors

So here's how it all shakes out for the PPC comp system (the new one I'm proposing)... compared to SDK I lose 7 liberators and a gryph hound, (they value the prime VERY high - 575 points!) but I'm not sure that'll make any real difference in the big scheme of things.
Heroes:
Celestant Prime Knight Vellixor (pendant of the stormbringer) Knight Azyros Lord Castellant Lord Celestant on Dracoth
5 judicators with bows/special bow 5 judicators with crossbows/special crossbow
Hammerstrike brotherhood:
5 retributors with one mace 5 retributors with one mace 3 prosecutors
Hammerstrike brotherhood:
5 retributors with one mace 3 retributors 3 prosecutors
2490 PPC points
