well I'd certainly play against it, but you've seen the stuff I'VE put on the table (smurfs, squats, angry marines, Cthulhu) thinking people should play me, so maybe I'm the wrong guy to comment...lol

Since the Orca is out of production, and going for 900 CAD on ebay, I might pick this guy up and add a bunch of tau parts to it. What do you think? Would you play it? Not that the Orca is ANY good, its more about completing the line. I dont know what is worse. That Idea of playing against a Orca, or that you searched for that on the internet.

I'd play against it! I had all of them and the island as a kid.

If it's out of print do the China guys still have it?

If it's out of print do the China guys still have it? Nope, though there's talk of one guy grabbing a hella expensive one on Ebay if he gets enough pre-orders. However, he doesn't have a ton of reviews so I don't really feel like committing $200 to a relatively untested guy.

Hey all, here's a pro tip. If you want to get any amount of painting done, don't buy a house... Well, model painting that is. I've painted quite a few rooms though! Anyways, I have been slowly chugging along on this bad boy. Base colours are getting near done in this photo. Still another layer of red in some panels, and two more of bone. There is a TON of surface area on Tigershark. Then line cleanup, highlights, jewels, mechanical bits, transfers, some freehand, and other small details. Oh and the 16 drones that came with him (sigh...) I have big plans for how he will be presented. Stay tuned.

I've been marooned in kingston a couple nights a week after work, and started bringing my painting stuff with me. Problem was, I had no good way of bringing stuff around. Enter, The BoxI saw a Kickstarter for a lazercut MDF mobile painting station and instantly wanted it, until I saw the price tag. $185 US + shipping and tax... a little out of my price range. So, using some scrab 3/4" birch plywood from work, I put this together for a grand total of $0. I cut out some egg carton-like foam to fit in the empty space for transporting my projects around. I've ordered a USB powered LED strip to go on the underside of the front "lip" to light up the station. It should arrive in a couple weeks. Also pictured is the progress I'm making on my stealth suits for this months challenge.

Seeing it in person it looks super cool.
Have me thinking about how I can sneak some mini painting in at my work

Hmmm, excuse to buy a 3D printer? Seeing as used Orcas are going for 500GBP on ebay, it sure would be cheaper!
Or I could get someone to print it for me I suppose.
