I wrote up some rules and made a map for a map-based 40k campaign a few months ago, and now I'm wondering if anybody out there is interested in playing in something like that. It would last about two months and be one specific day a week, and games would be set at 1000 points for the first month and 1500 for the second, so that new players or old players with new armies would be welcome If any people are interested in the idea I can post the details, and any number of people would be welcome to join Thanks for reading

This would the basic rule set up for those who are interested. Every region is worth a number of both control points (representing how important the region is) and resource (minerals, biomass, damned souls, etc.). Control Points are accumulated every turn; whoever has the most at the end wins. Resource is used for 3 purposes:1) to determine turn order 2) to buy strategic benefits and 3) as a tie-breaker at the end of the campaign During your turn you can either invade 2 neutral regions, 1 neutral and 1 enemy region, just 1 enemy region, or do nothing. Whoever wins in an invasion either gains or retains control of that area. Invaded neutral territories are automatically captured regardless of whether you win or lose that week, however resource and control points from newly captured regions are only awarded to winners. If one player invades or is invaded by another player, they will automatically end up playing each other. As well, if two players invade the same neutral territory, they'll end up playing each other. Otherwise, match-ups will be random. The first week will be a different format in order to get people on the map. If anyone has any questions or is still interested, please post them or message me. If enough people are interested I'll see what I can do to get it running
