I'm currently building a marine army, and was wondering if anyone had suggestions for anti armour. Currently I have a regular dred kitted out wih the las cannons and missle launchers, and 5 hellblasters with plans to add 5 more. What other units does everyone fond fills this roll well, and which have you had trouble with?

I personally find that venerable dreads are worth the 20 or so points than the standard one. Their ws and bs are both at 2+ and they get a 6+ FNP which can be the difference between shooting for another turn and just dying.
I've heard that a razorback or two with twinlazcannons can be useful, especially to screen for your hellblasters from shooting for a turn or two.

I really like a relic contemptor with two twin las cannons and a cyclone missile launcher.
4 las cannons and two missile launcher shots per turn. Hitting on a 2+ (until it degraded) 12 wounds with 2+ 5++ and a 6+ fnp.
Devestators can be good too. A unit of 5 with 4 lascannons cost the same as a 5 man hell blaster unit. Not as good all around but better anti tank.

With allies, a Knight Castellan.
Mono-codex? Deredeo Dreadnought spreading a 5+ invulnerable save to a trio of Predators. Pop the cover stratagem if you go second. Cross fingers.

Yes a deredeo can be great especially if they have anything with fly that has a -1. As they get a plus 1 if dont move vs something with fly.
A leviathan with gravity flux can theoretically do good but I've never tried it. Or Storm cannons can work vs mid to low toughness vehicles. Or with number of shots and some luck vs high toughness.

There's some cool Sicaran variants out there that can make mincemeat of a tank; also some FW predator variants that have some nice dual capability.

I've been using a Sicaran Tank Venator for a couple months. Does extremely well against armour. An (almost) pure ultramarine list got 7th at Adepticon using two of them.

realize you've been worshiping a corpse full of lies and come to chaos? that seems like the obvious solution here Don't you have three marine armies, and no choas space marines? I'm just saying, how reliable is your chaotic evangelism here?

(BA are gone) ....plus ordered that lord discordant... so you know... that's happening...lol but reliable? well that doesn't sound much like chaos does it? random and twisted and makes no rational sense? that's more like it!

One highly underrated way of embedding anti everything into a marines army is to embed some powerfists into your army. There's a few ways to do it that have been pretty effective imo.
Ironclad dreadnought EDIT: Definitely do NOT take one of these. they are VERY "bad" Troop squad Sargents Terminators
These units are generally not dedicated anti tank. But it's a way of preventing yourself from being de-fanged if your dedicated anti tank starts trading with your opponents tanks.
For dedicated anti tank, Auto-Las or QuadLas preds are pretty dankarino, and don't overlook the humble devastator squad fitted with some krak missiles.
Marines imo generally struggle in the anti tank and dedicated unit role slots because of their generalist "we're good at everything" nature.

Lol. Honestly they are not super great. But 4 attacks str 12 ap 4 with a flat 4 damage with the chain fist can surprise people if they dont know about it. And the add a hurricane bolter so he can shoot while he slowly walks forward.
And toughness 8 is great
