Warcry Warbands

I know, they're for Warcry and are supposed to be from the AoS side of things. But who else looks at them as fancy Cultist champions?

Corvus Cabal - Thousand Sons
Cypher Lords - Slaanesh 
Iron Golems - Khorne or Iron Warriors depending on paint
Splintered Fang - Alpha Legion
The Unmade - Nurgle (with a little GS), Slaanesh or Undivided  
Untamed Beasts - Khorne or Undivided

yeah I immediately thought cool cultists as well... not likely to play a skirmish game but man those sculpts are nice enough to warrant purchases for other purposes

Agreed! Depending on which army/kit you choose though I could see some diminishing returns on buying multiple boxes.

EX: The super cool sculpts from say the Corvus would be awesome in singles, and the background guys would blend really nicely with any cultist unit, but having multiples of the stilted bird guy would ruin the uniqueness of that sculpt.

Not one for skirmish games but I'll be buying the Corvus cabal and unmade just to paint up the models.

Though I do really like the terrain for warcry as well.
