I dont want to get my hopw up, cause I fell for that at the codex release with the new models.
Ghaz was suupose to get a big dreadnought sized model and it never happend...
I'd be very happy if he did get a new model, and hoping he is great enough to make going goffs worth it.

I am being somewhat pessimistic, but I expect the "new model" to simply be the old sculpt, but cast in plastic.

If Gaz does get a new model, it is pretty much guaranteed to be completely different than the last. The molding and casting process is very different between plastic and resin. It would cost almost as much to make molds of the old model in plastic as it would to develop new ones, without the increase in sales it would bring.
In fact, I can't think of a single finecast model being brought directly from resin to plastic without a substantial overhaul.
I think a far more realistic thing to be doubtful about would be if they are even re-releasing Gaz at all. Pessimism for new, unannounced models is always healthy.
