i am wondering about the deployment rules for daemons. the rule states that "at the beginning of your first turn, divide the army into 2 groups that must include, as much as possible, the same number of units." now does this mean u have to do this model for individual model. so like 45 models in one group and 46 in the other. or does it mean sqaud for sqaud like 3 hqs and 2 heavys in 1 group and 4 troops and a fast attack in the other. basicly just wondering how this works. also i recently went on bolter and chainsword regarding blessings of the blood god. the daemon has a 2+ invol against wounds caused by psychic powers or force weapons. on the site they were all daemonhunter players i think and they came to the conclusion that this only works against a grand masters , stern, and on purchased force weapons from the armory. just wondering if you agree with that or if you think it should work on all nemisis force weapons?

I believe it's number of units... so if you have 10 units total (5 troop, 2 HQ, 3 Heavies) then you need to have five units in wave one, and 5 in your backup wave...
also believe that blessings of the blood go is pretty clear that if it's a result of a psychic power or a force weapon you get the save.... the psychic power which gives grey knights force weapons is both, so seems pretty clear....

Shannon is correct that it's an even split of units, not models between each wave (which is why I usually have an odd number of units so I actually get a bigger chunk of my army on turn 1 I'm pretty sure that the GK book states that all Nemesis Force weapons are "force weapons" that you roll a test for as a unit, not on a per model basis. My opinion (and I play both armies) is that you get the save (and to be honest, with all the other bonuses the GK's get against Daemons you'll likely need it)

Agreed with Randy's interpretation. 2++ against force weapons would work against all NFW because they're Nemesis -Force Weapons-. It isn't the force weapon ability that the ward is granted to, but the Force Weapon itself, if I remember the reading correctly.
