I don't currently have a 40K army. By any chance would you also be looking to do Age of Sigmar as well? I have a fully painted 2000 point army there. I would understand however if you wish to keep it 40K.
Yes i do want to do AOS as well. You would be the first one as I don't quite have enough overlords to make 2,000 points (working on it). I'm sure we can make something work still got a couple of weeks before I'm all set up to go so we'll see about possibly getting another AOS player b4 then
All right so first i have acquired a 2000 pt army for AOS so hopefully we both don't have Tzeentch demon armies hahaha. Here are the prospective matchups. Plenty of time to move things around between now and the first game feel free to message me about anything.

As i said, tentative schedule but that might b a typical week. Too much? Too little? Let me know if any of it works for yall. Ttys.
I'm willing to jump in to help fill a time slot, can bring tau/ork/eldar depending on what works best for you.
I know I had a friend down and we were having a beer and playing our first couple games at a pretty chill past but our game was 3.5 hrs to get use to rules and such so I think lukas is right on time frame. I know that that 40k in 40 minutes channel on youtube says it take 4 hrs of playing and a couple of editing to get a good 40 minutes video

I've done a few battle reports during the initial club championship days for mission previews as well as when miniwargaming and skari both came to town... in my opinion you need at minimum 3.5 hours to do a battle report up.
In addition to the whole set up of everything, you generally want to have both lists set up to be displayed, both players talk about their list and their ideas around why they chose what they did, and then actually play the game (with stops here and there in filming when issues arise and you have to rules check etc.) then a wrap up conversation afterwards.
Again, just my opinion, because this is obviously your project so can do whatever you like! I however know I cannot commit to that much time... although I could be regularly able to do a game a week when things are getting off the ground.
Might I suggest seeing what days/times are most available and going from there?
post-production on two games a day would be intense as well...
I recommend checking out Tabletop Titans, Miniwargaming, and Tabletop Tactics for examples of filmed batreps done very well, even with filming everything in the game (so can be 2 and half hour videos!).
Ok awesome feedback. Always good to have a reality check. Hahaha, yes I've been murdered by my wife & resurrected myself in order to do this & I don't recommend it. Im going to look at what you all said & post another hopefully more realistic schedule by fri night & we'll have another look. Also based on what you said I'll only plan for one game on any given night. The format sounds good & ill go with that setup; display/discuss armies followed by the game & wrap up. Also thanks raceygaming ill b sure 2 take u up on the kind offer & Monsieur Shrapnel I'll check out those feeds : )
All right here's a schedule based a little bit more in the mortal Realms of reality LOL. No more shock and awe I hope.
Sat Aug 15th 4pm - 8pm Jack Shrapnel (daemons) vs. Vadah (Blood Angels)
*PROSPECTIVE* Tue Aug 18th
5pm - 9pm Dave (Tau) vs.
Sat Aug 29th 5pm - 9pm Vadah (Blood Angels) vs. Dave (Tau)

Sat Sep 5th 4pm - 8pm Raceygaming (Orks please vs. Kaelon (Harlequins) *PROSPECTIVE*
And that will take us into September with everyone at least playing once who wanted to I believe. If there are any adjustments that need to be made once again just let me know. I'm working on creating bios for each of you so I can respect each of your individual availabilities as well as which armies you like to play with/against etc so please keep hitting me up with as much information as you feel like! It all helps.
On a separate note I am looking for someone with technical proficiency to work on and film these battle reports with me & more. This is something I wish to negotiate with the individual as it will be an ongoing position. Just thought I'd post here b4 anywhere else.
