We meet up Sunday afternoons (12-5) and Wednesday evenings (7-10) and it is an open invitation to anyone interested in hanging out and chatting while painting - there is no need to have a camera (most of us run audio-only, to save on bandwidth)
We mostly talk about 40k, Star Wars (sometimes Trek) and other various things.
The most consistent feedback I have heard about the painting group is about how much folks accomplish while participating.
