So I have the Blackstone fortress core game with the 40 or so miniatures and noticed I could possibly use Dahyek Grehk in my T'au list. Does anyone know if there are special rules or factions they are restricted to? I've searched around and can't find a solid answer for it.

I believe he is considered as an elite and you use the character stats he uses and you can also use the spindle and guardian drones as well in any army because of the Unaligned keyword.

It makes sense, and I really like what I see from Dahyek and the kroot in general. More models for then enclave.

Yeah when I saw the guardians had the no alignment keyword and I was half tempted to get some for my tau army and saw the prices for the two sets and didn't really want to get them anymore and I feel like it would somewhat be a hassle everytime I table them with my tau.

That's the larger versions of the spindle drones right? I saw them at the store you're right they looked awesome but I couldn't believe the price, I mean it's gw but still.

Yeah the big one i wanted to get two guardians and 8 spindles and I saw you could only get them in the game sets and I didn't want to buy two core boxes.
