So, seeing as how there is a local community it seems, I am somewhat interested in the game. I was interested before, but didn't want to buy into a game with no players. Anyway, I don't know much about the game, other than it's a skirmish level game with a small handful of models.
So, what's it like? How does it play? Are the rules free online that I'd be able to check out or would a rulebook be needed?
I'll admit, I've always liked Spider-Man, so any game that would let me use him in mini form sounds cool, hahaha

Yup the rulebook is free online. If you're used to gw games this is not that at all. Its an action based system with objective based gameplay.

Alright, when I'm back from work today, I'll look up the rulebook.

Oh, important question (important for me anyway), but what are the models made of? Plastic, resin, metal, etc?

Thanks. I don't like metal models, and have never worked with resin before, so this is good for me. If I do get into the game, I'll look forward to the assembly and painting.

Thanks. I don't like metal models, and have never worked with resin before, so this is good for me. If I do get into the game, I'll look forward to the assembly and painting. On Atomic Mass Game’s website you can find the build guides for many of their models. These models are taller than GW models and are in a more “true scale” meaning they are more properly proportioned than GW models (where someone’s fist is the same size as their head); so some characters can be quite...spindly...or finicky. Some of the core set minis take patience, as do some of the first expansions. A lot of the later that expansions and larger models are far easier to put together. So models like Hulk, MODOK, Kingpin, Ghost Spider, and Miles Morales are extremely easy when compared to say Captain Marvel or Shuri. There are several bat reps on YouTube, like Blackfyre Productions, who is Canadian.

Thank you. I haven't had the time to look up the rules or any videos yet, but I'll try to do so later today, as I have the day off.
