space marine faq, the upgrades to characters got clarified since before they had two points values. master of the forge is 20 points not 30.
legends for space marines, the venerable chaplin dread is 175 points duty eternal. Vaylud cal is back, 165 points for both a techmarine and a captian with chapermaster in one. not to bad.

If Legends units can be used, then Necrosius is still a cool option for characters. 120 points for a decently tough character with Pestilential Fallout (snaps mortals out on successful 7's to cast) and whenever he successfully manifests a power, a nearby Poxwalker unit regains D3 lost bodies.
Hilariously though, they don't list how many spells he can manifest.
EDIT: He casts like the Plaguecaster. AKA, cast 2, deny 1.

It's actually hilarious how Renegades and Heretics got better from the index. Through I will miss those Chaos Ogryn models, those were sweet AF.
