www.warhammer-community.com/faqs/#warhammer-40000Lots of changes. Changes to primary scoring: he second player now scores in Turn 5 at the end of their turn. Also some changes to Abhor the Witch and Bring it Down - you get less points per model. Points changes as well - Eradicators, Outriders and Inceptors went up. So did the Nightbringer. Lots to digest, but the scoring changes look welcome! Iain

Necrons "Page 117 – Canoptek Reanimator Change Unit Cost from ‘110 pts’ to ‘80 pts’" Awesome. I might bring one or two now.
Tau *Page 33 – Commander Shadowsun, Keywords (Shadowsun) Add ‘Supreme Commander’ to Shadowsun’s keywords.

oooh... I was just struggling to finish my last two reanimators... a 30 point price cut MIGHT make this seem slightly less of a waste to bring them of course I just bought a bunch of outriders and inceptors to make a white scars army... guess I'm cutting something out!

some MAJOR changes in there:
While we stand we fight: changed from MODELS to UNITS that are most expensive... might use this now!
nurglings cannot use their FNP for mortals... sad nurgling face
+20 points to the nightbringer? yeah he's still the best C'tan by far - I don't think players will hesitate to still bring him.
*Page 9 – Bring it Down Change to read: ‘Score 1 victory point at the end of the battle for each enemy Monster or Vehicle model with a Wounds characteristic of 10 or less that is destroyed, 2 victory points for each enemy Monster or Vehicle model with a Wounds characteristic of between 11-19 that is destroyed, and 3 victory points for each enemy Monster or Vehicle model with a Wounds characteristic of 20 or more that is destroyed.’
+
*Page 10 – Abhor the Witch Change to read: ‘You cannot select this secondary objective if your army includes any Psyker units. Score 3 victory points at the end of the battle for each enemy Psyker Character unit that is destroyed, and 2 victory points for every other enemy Psyker unit that is destroyed.’
= everyone NOT scoring 30 points automatically when they fight my daemons!
AND THE BIGGEST WIN:
*Pages 16-54 – Primary Objectives, Take and Hold/Domination Add the following to the end of every Primary Objective in this Mission Pack: ‘In the fifth battle round, the player who has the second turn does not score any victory points at the end of their Command phase, but instead, at the end of their turn, they score 5 victory points for each of the above conditions they satisfy (for a maximum of 15 victory points).’
This should mitigate the primary scoring discrepancy with going second quite a bit!

Another big change is no choice to go second. Winner of the roll off just goes first.

The Bring it Down helps a bunch of lists out, my orks went from 22 pts for bring it down to 11 pts.
The scoring at the end of turn 5 is huge for Obsec units that can just sneak into 3" and steal really let an army on its last legs still grab a really solid 10-15 points last round if they are in good board positioning.
While we stand we fight also really helps cause there was no real issue with bring these big elite units since you could just use your characters but now things like terminator balls and 30 plague bearers will actually be able to be that hard to kill anvil you bring.

I was hoping that there would be the addition of a "Gang Buster" style secondary where you could score for killing multiple wound models or units. right now there are a few armies that can run some pretty elite non-monster/ vehicle armies that are super tough to get secondary's off.

Looks like they're trying to make vehicles better on the Guard side - cheaper vehicles across the board with an average drop of 10 points, pricier guardsmen, and worse bring it down.
One thing I'm not sure about the bullgryns is whether the 35pt/model includes the weapon. If so it'd be a 8 point per model drop and that's a lot more exciting than the 3 point drop per model otherwise. Same with the chimera - if the cost includes the built in heavy bolter/flamer then it'll be a 15 point drop - a lot more exciting

Though the Reanimator is primarily useful when you have a lot of multi-wound models (destroyers/wraiths etc) on the field. Rights of Reanimation cover the core infantry (warriors in particular).
Though I can see people hauling along a Chronomancer to give the thing a 5++ for some better survivability. Because let's face it; you're not always going to be able to hide that thing behind a building. And it is going to be priority number one for the enemy.

Looks like Tau got a little bit of help from these points changes as well.
From what I digested from various sources:
Riptide Shield Generator at 10 points Crisis dropped 5 points Broadsides dropped 16 points Shielded Missile Drones dropped to 15 points Devilfish and Prinaha got cheaper
Through I was also told Commanders were increased in points but I could not verify.
Craftworlds got some help too, looks like all Troops choices dropped 2pts/model which means
Stormies @ 7 each from 9 Guardians @ 8 each from 10 Avengers @ 11 each from 13 Rangers @ 13 each from 15
May not seem like much, but across a 2k list that's at least 30 points freed up if you took minimum troops, more likely to be in range of 60-80 points if you were taking 3x10 man units or more.
My wolves are untouched points wise, seems _most_ marine lists were unaffected in any meaningful way unless you were hard spamming one of the three units with points increases.
