Hard time reading FAQ point changes for Guard.

Hey guys, gals and non binary pals,

I'm trying to finalize my list for Club champs and I'm having a hard time figuring out the new points for Astra Militarum.

As an example. The unit cost for Pask is 200 pts. Does that include the hull weapon heavy bolter? The Heavy bolter is listed at 15 pts. Is it 15 pts X2 since when you take sponson weapons? Battle Cannon at 5 pts.

So is he 200 (Base) + 5 (Cannon) + 15 (Hull Bolter) + 15 (Right Sponson) + 15 (Left sponson) = 250

Or is he 200 (Base) + 5 (Canon) + 15 (Sponsons Heavy Bolter) = 220

In the Codex he is 177 points with no wargear. IOs he now 200 points no wargear + ALL the wargear so 250 points?

I use Battlescribe and don't often have to calculate it with pen and paper and the time limit is the 15th for the list for Club Champs and Battlescribe isn't updated.

He costs 200 base, THEN; you ala'carte his weapons for the listed points. Heavy bolters cost the same no matter if they're in the hull, or the sponson.

If a codex weapon option is missing, then it costs zero points to arm the model with that weapon.

You pay the points for each listed weapon or option which you have taken.

For each weapon or option you have taken, which does not have a points value listed, assume it costs 0 points to take or exchange for.

I think If you search YouTube there are some content where people go throw each faction in detail for the new points. Just have to look around

Battlescribe actually updated late last night, you'll have to manually press the UPDATE DATA button because Battlescribe by default will only check once a week.

Source: I'm staring at Pask in Battlescribe right now at 200 base, 5 for the Battle Cannon, and 45 for three heavy bolters for a total of 250.
