+1A and 4+ save for Warriors is pretty nifty
Splinter cannon going to Heavy 3....is what it is Splinter cannon getting AP -1 and poison weapons going back to having both a S value and Poison (X+) is neat (hoping it goes back to like it was in 5e where if you equal or exceed T with your S you reroll to wound/use the chart vs the poison value)
Splinter cannon being D2 makes venoms a nice little 6 shot marine hunting vessel
Extrapolating, if warriors get 2A base....Wyches likely will as well, which could easily mean we will see 3 attack whychs due to the +1 from wych weapons

Per GW update today, preorder is Mar 20th, which feels still pretty far away for the next Codex.
Yesterday they also put out a statement that went something like, expect more delays for the rest of the year.

Well, that doesn't bode well for the "rapid fire" 9th releases we'd seen previously. Though to be fair, we should all expect delays in most aspects of life now because of Covid.
haha, maybe the Sons will get a new codex before 10th.

I'm kinda okay with a codex / month releases... the rapid fire releases of the past were great for content but it got overwhelming fast when you're trying to adjust to (or BUY!) two codex a month!... 12 dexes per year would still get everyone caught up pretty quickly (by next year).
Maybe if they focused on core content and not supplemental content until every dex was out that would also make things move alot faster. The UK has been pretty screwed over by covid + brexit, so delays were inevitable unfortunately.

I think the most likely thing that will happen is that this edition will run a year or so longer than the more recent editions.
I think the rate of drops slows for at least the rest of the year, probably slower than one per month if Drukhari is anything to go by, more like 1.5 months per, with the occasional extra "Supplement" thrown in.

7 power sword attacks with exploding 6's? so 8 on average... vs. marines that's 4 wounds... so best case scenario kills two primaris marines?
if she survives the counter attack (T3 with only her invul is not fantastic at this though) she can fight twice and kill another two?
So seems alright I guess, as long as she's pointed correctly... I mean she'll mow through T3 units with no invul... but DE weren't exactly struggling with that before (especially if you're taking Lelith you're also taking wyches!) But fragile blender character she's decent I guess.
My struggle with the box set is even though I have a DE army, I have literally no use for any of those models. I can utilize all the sisters stuff of course... but makes for a pricey box.

Yeah she will blend things like guard/orks/etc....which has always been her purpose. But then again when I last played DE, she was initiative 10 and got bonus attacks based on weapons skill differential.
