There is now an arachnid named after a 40K character.

A word of warning, but the above article has horrifying pictures of arachnids, and looks very much like a spider. I figured I'd give the heads up for those that have arachnophobia like me. 


So, if you read that article on the Warhammer Community site, you will find that Abaddon the Despoiler now has an arachnid named after him. I'm too squeamish to read the article, as the pictures scare me (I hate spiders, and arachnids in general), so I can't provide more details beyond it being named Abaddon Despoliator.


Well, that's all for now. Enjoy, or cower in fear at the pictures. Either way, it's an interesting fact.

I'd have said he was a cute little fella, but yeah, I get perceptions change with a phobia. Still pretty funny that they named a tiny, non-venomous arachnid after the warmaster.

I approve of this trend. All newly discovered species are to be named after chaos!
