I feel targeted and yet, appreciative.

This is something I regularly do, especially at tournaments when there's seemingly a million things going on and lots of background noise.
Lately, I've been using a phase-by-phase cheat sheet that has bullet points of reminders when things trigger, what key stratagems I might want to use or be reserving CP for, or things to keep an eye out for (like keep unit X and Y within 6" of each other)
You'd be surprised how much something like this helps you concentrate on the tactical parts of the game. Playing warhammer isn't a game of remembering things like a dates on a history test. Give yourself a break!

I've made a cheat sheet of secondary objectives for every event after my first.....itsvhelped greatly both in choosing them and in remembering the criteria (esp when w Deathwatch i could have 3 secondaries spread across 3 physical books)
