imgur.com/a/MtWs01zHopefully that link up there works. Anyway, that up there is my Daemon Prince. The plan is to eventually have some Thousand Sons with him. The Thousand Sons themselves will be the shiny green and gold you see on this guys wrist armour. I know I will never win awards for my painting, but I'm happy with how he turned out. That being said, photographs always seem to bring out the defects on my paint job, hahaha. It took me forever to get this guy done. I've just been struggling with motivation, due in part to severe depression and apathy towards life lately. Hopefully my next project goes faster.

Thank you. 🙂 Yesterday made three days in a row that I worked on a model, so I have some momentum going. Derek had told me of something called "No Zero Days", or something like that. Basically, I need to try to keep the momentum going, even if I only do hobby stuff for as little as a few minutes a day. As such, after work today I plan to assemble some models.

Looking good Alex! skin looks sweet.
I have had issues with motivation during the pandemic, working on that now. One thing that really helps me is trying to keep my hobby space clean. I find that I get overwhelmed if there is stuff all over my desk. Your mileage may vary.

As for the hobby space being clean, I'll definitely do that. My spot is not neat by any measure of the word, hahaha.

Looks great. I would definitely like to see how that green scheme turns out on some thousand sons.
That "no zero days" thing really does help. I'm currently trying to wind my hobbying back up after a fairly long slump (I blame the tzaangors).
For a while there though I was making great progress because I was trying to get at least a little something done each night. Sometimes I'd suddenly find myself with time and motivation and it was much easier to make the choice to tackle a bigger project. Keep that momentum rolling!

As for the momentum thing, after supper I plan to assemble a few things. Hopefully a mid sized thing and a bunch of smaller things, but if I only get the mid sized guy done (doing it first), I'll still be happy.

Personally I see a very nicely turned out figure. Like others above I have had my own issues with motivation the past 18 months as well. This has not been an easy time. This past week I've been taking advantage of the weather to base coat and base colour a lot of the figs I have assembled during covid. I too want to adopt the "no zero day" process. Even if I just sneak in 5 minutes of tidying my hobby space every day, I know I've done SOMETHING. Keep on truckin' with this and know you are not alone in the struggle.
