Depending on the day, as well as point limit, I may not be able to make it this time. After the recent points changes, I need to redo some things to have a legal list again.

Just my opinion, but the 2k sounded fun, slowly building up. If it's a tag team event I don't think I'll be attending.

Can't say that I've ever played a doubles game of 40k or AoS. Is it easier or harder to play? I could always play the chaff half of the army, and be off to an early lunch...

I would probably say easier if only because with twice as many people at the table you have better odds *somebody* knows how something's supposed to work My experience is team games list towards casual dice fests. Way back in the 2000s when I was first playing 40k nearly every game I played was a tag team game, or later an apoc game. Good times.

Team format can be a barrier to entry.

Team format can be a barrier to entry. Yes it can be... so please answer the poll as to what you would prefer Team was suggested, so I put it up there as an option, but I want to run whatever tourney you WANT to have.

Team format can be a barrier to entry. Yep it definitely can be, but so will be a full points tourney. Between the two choices I can basically guarantee you somebody isn't going to be there who otherwise might have been.
It's also worth noting that assuming the events follow a similar logic to 40k's where it rotates through a few formats over the year it's not a matter of whether or not we do a team event- it's should the march tourney be the team event. I'd be shocked if there weren't enough people interested in teams to ever support a team tourney!

I'll admit, I'd be interested in teams. Only thing holding me back is that I don't really know anyone here as well as I'd like, so I doubt I'd be able to find someone to agree to be on the same team as me, hahaha.

We have a group of 3 guys from Brockville that would be interested in playing. All can field 2k armies.

I realize my response was a little short! Very happy to play 1000 points at the next tourney to accommodate new players!
