GW has put up their game's survey here. www.warhammer-community.com/2021/11/04/your-chance-to-make-warhammer-40000-even-better-with-the-gamers-survey/There is a section at the end for additional comments. Here's what I've got so far; -Avoid releasing supplements for factions that do not even have an updated codex yet. -Dropper bottles for paints (at the very least airbrush range) -Digital rules updates!!!!!!! Sifting through FAQ's and errata in separate documents is an exercise in frustration. Port rules over to a digital platform that can be updated over-the-air. Especially points.

I left a rather lengthy comment about ways to improve the CP/Stratagem mechanics
There needs to be consistency between what is a "free" unit ability or a CP taxed ability. Current stratagems that are just native abilities of a unit or piece of wargear should just be baked into the data sheet (and depending on the ability not be restricted to 1 use per phase).
Example: Melta Bomb......For 1 CP one model in this unit may....

I posted a long comment about the balance issues, need for all codexes to be released before supplements as Lukas said, rules bloat amongst multiple books, barriers to entry for new players (rules & cost). Strats are just out of control with the number available... we could have a 1/4 of what we have now and it would be absolutely fine. As Ryan said, bake it into the datasheet!

I honestly left some pretty positive feedback for them. Having helped teach many many people to play this game since the dark-days of 5th edition a decade ago, 40k has been on a positive track for a long time. While 9th is by no means perfect, it's a very positive step to see all the factions getting different implementations of the same mechanics (for example, every faction appears to be getting a litany-reciting character, a LIMIT-1-PER-DETACHMENT keyword, chapter master style "bestow this buff to one nearby unit" abilities, etc etc etc.
Most newer-folks would laugh at us veterans who remember the "beer and preztels" days where GW actively admitted they don't care about game balance and hardly play test codexes and leave literally broken rules un-FAQed or fixed for years. (Don't believe me? ask a veteran Tyranid player about the infamous "Trygon Tunnel" debacle)
I agree 40k needs more streamlining, and they could probably tone down the volume of stratagems a little or take some other steps to make it a little less cumbersome to remember what units can use what stratagems (even just a list of which stratagems a unit can use as part of the datasheet would go a long way imo)
I'm honestly hoping GW doesn't get _too much_ negative feedback from the survey, or else they may not ask for it so publicly again. I've never seen them ask for feedback so openly before, so I hope this is just the next step of GW becoming more open with the community.
