Hey all,
I'm in the process of making an Inquisition army (half Inq., half IG)
The premise of the army is that it's a death star formation built around Inquisitor Karamazov. Karamazov is given the warlord trait and gets the ability which increases his invulnerable save by 1 (making it a 3+). He is surrounded by two units of 6 acolytes, which have a rule which allows them to (on a 2+ roll) sacrifice 1 model in exchange for all of the wounds delivered by 1 attack, and can attempt this as a unit once for every attack that is applied to him. They're hiding behind him and a prometheus land raider which is basically just there to shield and deliver heavy bolter fire. Behind him are also 3 Jokaero weaponsmiths who continually buff his weapons, and a Prometheus land raider to screen the squishies at the back. The Jokaeros can also buff the quad heavy bolters and multi melta on the land raider, and can enter the land raider if they need protection
Karamazov has a master-crafted multi melta, which does hella damage to a couple targets, and the land raider has two dual linked heavy bolters per side (8 heavy bolters total), which would deal with hordes.
The battalion of Imperial guard on this army would be intended to support the death star, with a few artillery carriages (probably medusas or earthshakers - I have proxies that look like something in between the two) screened themselves by guardsmen horde. The artillery, in addition to tempestus command squads with plasma guns, would be responsible for taking care of enemy artillery or anything that has enough firepower to do serious damage to Karamazov or the land raider, or anybody attempting to flank to eat up the squishy acolytes and weaponsmiths.
Total meme list I know but I just really want a reason to get a bunch of orangutans on the table. Any thoughts?
