Starwars eclipse was pretty sweet too but that space marine trailer gave me chills.

While the prospect of another space marine game is nice, the trailer was pretty... eh. None of the violence of action of cinematics starring space marines in the past, and after Dawn of War and Astartes I expect marines to be fast. This is almost like... cheesy schlock with the dramatic drop entrance and the slow walks, like they have nowhere to be and nothing they should be doing. The gunship just patiently hovers for them to disembark instead of sweeping the area with bolterfire, because aesthetics I guess. Kinda reminds me of the mobile game trailers.

This is *very* pretty and amazingly rendered! Those Tyranids look fantastic! Which is likely where most of the budget for the trailer went.
The old Dawn of War intro, with the Blood Ravens fighting the Orks on the hillside, will always be one of my favourite cinematics from the games - it is, pretty much, how I picture games of the table-top should play (each side trading blows until one lone unit stands atop the hill, banner held high and bellowing a great Waaagh!!)

I feel like the casual way the Marines killed the nids was intentional. You have the very stark contrast of motion between the three factions. The guard are running for their lives, literally doing everything they can to not die, while you have the very fast and darting movements from the nids.
Marines arrive, and much like they're removed from humanity, they're also removed from the way they go to war. A marine is hands down faster than a typical gaunt, and they show they don't have to run spastically from place to place in order to wage war. They're cold, calculating, and moved at the pace they needed in order to easily dispatch the few enemies in front of them.
I'm interested in how Titus managed to duck the inquisition, seeing as how the last time we saw him; he was firmly in custody and being led away in shackles if memory serves me from the ending cutscene.

If you look closely at Titus' right hand/arm, it clearly has an Inquisition Insignia on the chain wrapped around it. Given the 2 extra marks on Titus' forehead at the end, this story takes place some 101-299 years after the previous game. I suspect they'll explain this along the way. This is almost like... cheesy schlock with the dramatic drop entrance and the slow walks, like they have nowhere to be and nothing they should be doing. they show they don't have to run spastically from place to place in order to wage war. Sounds like basically the entirety of Space Marine- always more places to be than there are marines to go to them. Always on the move, never staying put standing around looking cool... Assuming that is indeed Titus he has been demoted. Probably the only Lieutenant in the Imperium with 4 centuries battle honours. Studs also suggest a 200 year time skip.

Unless he spent 100+ years on ice while the inquisition fully vetted him for "suitability". Who knows, maybe he was knocked down a bunch of pegs and had to work back from nothing because he didn't follow the codex Astartes to the letter.
As for running spastically, that's what Space Wolves do, Ultramarines have to keep that rod firmly up their butt, so they have to move carefully, lol.

So, something I just noticed, but when Titus has his sword fight with the Tyranid Warrior, specifically when they lock swords, the tyranid seems to forget that it has a second set of arms that it could easily lash out with to gut the marine, or at least keep itself from getting shot.
Maybe it was so in awe of a sequel coming that it just slipped it's mind.
