Ya again I think they hit the nail on the head, in the codex units this is a solid buffs and strats that make them strong choice. As soon as you cross the line into the FW monsters you get a wildly powerful unit for bargain prices. 255 for a Demicharon (spelling), things is jumping over terrain, doing massive damage spikes and can be transhuman, not to mention both of the Heridules are looking crazy good.
I do want to see monster mashes do well but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of FW lots out on this buff to keep things reasonable.

I think it will kill a lot of stuff, and be "ah big scary monsters" but actual scoring primary (with no to little obsec) plus having a really hard time with secondaries will likely mean this will not be that competitive when you're losing out on the units that help you play the game / score secondaries. An awesome more survivable carnifex is great, but he's going to kill like 3 ork boys if he's lucky who will not let him take that objective from him!
The new bring it down will also be easy to max against these lists for sure! And transhuman is great, but 2 CP on a monster is going to get pricey quick, especially when you're going to be bringing mostly patrols / spearheads and be pretty short on CP that you'd rather be using for more effective things. My test list for example starts with 5 CP only... not going to be really popping transhuman with that few CP!
But I'm pretty excited to try it out as nidzilla was my first 40k list all those years ago and I'd really like it to be viable again!

With the Tyranids getting an army of renown (and from the descriptions I see, a good one), I hope that the trend will continue for the other factions over time. Could give people more options when it comes to list building.
