The build-a-demon thing is indeed awesome. Everything I learn if this game makes it seem like it'll be the best of the 3.
Hopefully the "mortal empires" equivalent update comes fairly quickly though. I'd love to have the whole world as the map.

Yeah, it announced in the very beginning that they wanted to do a trilogy. Knew it would take them three games to fit in all the armies, and cover the territory they wanted.
I do want to see how the final world map ends up looking. I'm not a huge fan of the mortal empires map, and actually only play the base campaigns. I get that they couldn't make it too big, for gameplay reasons, but it feels a bit cramped.
I wonder if an announcement of chaos dwarf dlc will coincide with GW hyping the oathbreakers/evil dwarfs for AoS? Guy can dream.

Nice one. I noticed as soon as GW released the news, Goonhammer, and some of the guys who do total war videos that I watch were quick to release their content. Guess they had to wait for GW to say "go" with the official announcement.
Definitely excited for this game. Definitely not excited to have one more thing standing between me and my paint brushes.

From the previews and screenshots I can definitely say that CA was....inspired when it comes to the designs of various daemon untis and their movements/behaviors.
The Khorne siege tower doesn't actually have wheels. It instead is propelled by a constantly churning pile of skulls. Nurgle on the other hand has these giant snail-like things. That's the best way I can describe them. |

For those that have preordered the game, you can begin to preload it starting today (10am I think). The game will take about 120GB, so if you have slow download speeds it may be helpful to do so. Please keep in mind that even if you preload, there will likely be a day one patch or something.

Eh, there are no doubt going to be a bunch of 'first-day' patches and such so I'm in no massive rush to download the thing. I can focus on the game after Club Champs is done.
