Just wondering what other people do if they find they are missing, or have destroyed one of their hover tank bases?
I see that I can order more from the GW website, so I assume I could get them through Nexus. But are there better solutions out there? Just not a fan of those flimsy stems.

im not sure if your gluing them into the tank but I find if you don't glue them they are less prone to breaking and one thing i saw people do is they drill down into the stem and add a rod or they jut replace the whole stem with a rod that fit's that diameter but I rarely play with them for that reason too and just set my tanks on the ground/table.

I don't glue mine, but I have had to drill snapped bases out of used tanks because the previous owner did.
That rod idea sounds like a good one though, if I can find something that would fit into the base.
I modeled my first one with the landing gear up, because I thought it made sense for a hover tank. Then I realized the precarious situation I'd put myself in, and now I don't have the option to just use it without a base.

Yeah thats one of my biggest issues of buying 2nd hand is that something might be wack or not what you want with the assembly, I'm currently dealing with some burst cannons that were primed/painted with a thick enamel paint and useing simple green and isopropyl haven't helped.
Yeah I feel that my first hammerhead I glued the landing gear and my second one I magnetized them and I kinda wished I magnetized them.
