Regain CP

Can some one direct me to where it says how many times you can regain CP in a battle round.   Or was that only for 8th edition?  I remember reading somewhere that stratgems that allow you to regain cp dont count or something.   

any help would be great.

I beleive you are capped to 1 cp outside of the one you gain each round for battle forged.

So for tau if your bring a CP farming ethereal you dont need the PEN-chip as well.

The Rules of Refunds
In 9th Edition CP start at a fixed value based on the size of the engagement (3 CP for a Combat Patrol, 6 for Incursion, 12 for Strike Force, 18 for Onslaught). At the beginning of each player’s Command Phase that player generates one additional CP. Players may use abilities and powers to gain or refund additional CP, but there are four caveats:

1. You cannot gain or refund more than 1 CP per battle round.
2. CP used before the battle or at the end of a battle round cannot be refunded.
3. The CP bonus for having a battle-forged army, or CP gained at the start of the Command Phase via mission special rules, are exempt from the limit.
4. The limit of gaining or refunding 1 CP per battle round does not apply to CPs gained via Stratagems, such as Priority Threat Neutralised for Officio Assassinorum.

Ya tau have a bunch of ways to keep the CP flowing. I think of your relic light then PEN chip is great so your ethereal can be double casting buffs.
Ic you have too much relics you want the CP farm ethereal is still very solid but you need the relic staff to get thr double cast.

@chris there was one of the new missions where you can gain 2 CP by controlling the objective in your opponents deployment zone and it was clarified that its 1 CP other than the CP that will be generated by being battle forged based on the mission.
I know that's not a big deal but just some clarification on the CP already with the new missions.
